All players please observe the following rules:
- adults only for players
- no slide tackling, no hard-hitting
- we play real soccer, but protect each other, play fair games and lots of laughs
- Remember to bring a white and dark shirts or jerseys, no grays
- If both games are full, player who has not RSVPed is not guaranteed a spot

This list of rules is an adaptation of the official rules and what we have tested over the years:
- We play 2 games side by side, 6 v 6 or 7 v 7 or 8 v 8 or 9 v 9
- Nobody keeps the score; don't even talk about it on the field
- No offside
- Restart for Out of Play: kick-in or throw-in or corner kick
- All free kicks are indirect
- If posts and flags are being used for goals, they are 4 yards apart; no full-time goalie, no hands on ball
- If portable goals with nets are being used, full-time goalies and handling ball with hands (around goal-line area only) are allowed
- Please try your best to only have one player each team off the field for water break or taking phone call at a time
- If a player is off the field or even in the middle of walking back from retrieving a ball, please don't wait for him/her; start the play right way. Time flies!
